Making Kombucha at Home:
You can make kombucha at home, but making kombucha that tastes great, time and time again, and bottling it properly takes a lot of attention, skill and experience.
We encourage our customers to try making it at home so that you understand the process of how it's made and how it changes with time at different temperatures. We sell starter kits for $25 or $50 if you are interested. Most people would rather sit back and let us make it for them.
Kombucha can be made in an unlimited number of flavors and styles depending on the teas, fruit, herbs, spices and brewing techniques used. The final product can be sweet, tart or somewhere in between. It can have a mild or strong taste depending on what's in it, how much and how it is made. Some kombucha is very light and tastes like flavored sparkling water. Some kombucha tastes much stronger like a drinking vinegar and may make your face pucker. Many kombucha flavors make excellent mixers for cocktails as well as non-alcoholic mixed drinks.
Whatever your style or preference may be, Seattle Kombucha Company makes several unique and delicious flavors using simple, organic ingredients. We invite you to come by our brewery and taste them all to discover which ones are your favorites.
