Kombucha for Your Wedding or Event

Shipped anywhere in the country. No kegs, no equipment, nothing to return.

I'm Wayne. I brew this myself in Tacoma, and I'll ship it to your event wherever it is — all fifty states, including Alaska and Hawaii. Shipping is free.

Kombucha ships in 22-can boxes at $4.29 a can ($94.38 a box). Work out how many boxes you need from the table below, then order them from the 22 Can Variety Pack page.

How much do I need?

Most people guess by guest count, and over- or under-order. The number that actually matters is how many of your guests drink kombucha. At real events, somewhere between 10% and 20% of a crowd goes for it — but the ones who do often drink two or three. Your friends might be a much higher share than that, and you're the only person who knows.

When you're between two numbers, take the higher one. Running out at a wedding can't be fixed that day. Having extra is genuinely fine — see below.

“Can you ship us a keg?”

This is the first thing almost everyone asks, so let me answer it straight: not outside the Seattle–Tacoma area, and for a shipped event you don't want one anyway.

A five-gallon keg weighs about fifty pounds full. Shipping one across the country costs a fortune, it's one single flavor for your entire guest list, and you'd have to ship the empty back to me afterwards.

If your event is in the Seattle or Tacoma area, kegs are absolutely possible — see our keg page or get in touch and we'll sort it out.

Why cans work better for a shipped event

  • Several flavors instead of one. Eight to choose from. A keg is one flavor for everybody.
  • No refrigeration until the day. Store the boxes in a closet. Put them on ice that morning.
  • No equipment. Nothing to rent, nothing to set up, nothing to learn.
  • Nothing to return. No deposit, no empty keg to ship back from your honeymoon.
  • Leftovers are a feature. Take them home, or send them home with your guests. Nothing goes to waste and nothing goes bad.
  • One less thing. On the most over-planned day of your life, this is a box you open and pour over ice.

When to order

Three weeks before the event. It usually arrives much sooner. The three weeks is deliberate padding: if a box gets lost or crushed somewhere in the middle of the country, I want enough time to put another one on a truck and still have it there in time.

Order earlier if you like. The cans need no refrigeration and will be fine in a closet until the day.
